Fishbone Restaurant and Bar review
review by: nigel
15th 2007f August 2007
going to the fishbone was a first for my partner and i so we had no idea what to expect.we were seen to almost right away when going in we were seaed as normal and given the menus, on the menu the food sounds farly good altought the prices ARE jaw dropping. So we desided to have a meal deal type course in which you either had a starter and a main or a main and a dessert
i chose the broccoli and tomato pasta and marie had the liver the wait for the meal was about 15-20 minutes which is average in my eyes.when it did come out the presentation of the food was good but eating it was a completely different matter over all my pasta was pretty good
although it was very sickly and i could only manage half of the dish, on the other hand the liver OH MY GOD looked good on the outside NOT cooked on the inside we did not want to make a fuss but felt that we had too so a waiter came over we explained that it didn look edible so he took it and ordered anoher pasta dish. and while all the was going on there were other customers hwo were not satisfied at all and left the restaurant due to starters coming out after the main and one or two tables had stail bread and such or cold meals.
overall the retaurant was set out nicely
but the food sadly gets 2/10
not going to recommend at all and will not be going back !!!
