Old Market Inn review
Have been going to the Old Market for Sunday Carvery now for the past few months, to be honest I cant fault it. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the two young waitresses are friendly and cheerful even when dealing with a full house. We make a point of going every week as the food is second to none, a big thank you to all the staff at the Old MArket -

Old Market Inn review
Had the sunday carvery today - 18 of us. The welcome was nil, the atmosphere cold and not a single member of staff cracked a smile. The food was ok but nothing special. The desserts arrived very slowly even though they were cold. All in all very disappointing -

Old Market Inn review
After dining at the Old Market recently, I found myself telling people how much the pub had changed under new ownership. About 15 months ago I would of agreed with every word that Charlie Anderson has written in his review below. But he must of gone to a different Old Market, as the one in Holsworthy does not resemble that at all. The food is fantastic and second to none in the area, their beer is first class, but I don't need to say that as they have just won awards for the outstanding Ales. I would highly recommend a visit to this pub, if only for a drink. First class !!!! -

Old Market Inn review
I cannot believe that i have just read a review of Old Market Inn that has given five stars . I found the place to be unfriendly , smelling of stale alcohol and very unattentive staff who seemed more intent on talking about themselves than serving the customers. The food was very average and luke warm when eventually served . Would not recommend a visit to this establishment -

Old Market Inn review
We were told of this new and wonderful pub that had just opened in Holsworthy, and we should go down and try the carvery. We travelled from Bude, and realised when we got there that the pub was the Old Market Inn. My first thoughts were, I've been here before and did not enjoy it one bit. However I was convinced by my partner to carry on with our plans. We met up with our friends inside the pub and wow what a difference. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We sat on the leather sofas reading the complementary papers until it was time to go through. We walked through to what was a busy yet very well organised restaurant and shown to our table by the courteous and bubbly waitress, and then up to the carvery. With a choice of three meats and endless veg and roast pots, it was hard to make my mind up. After eating what seemed to be a mountain of food we retired back to the bar for coffee and other refreshments. We would like to say a big thank you to the new owners for looking after us so well, and look forward to seeing them very soon. More than likely next Sunday. Highly Recommended. *****
