    We have visited this restaurant twice as a treat for my husbands birthday. There was a nice atmosphere with friendly & helpful staff. A nice choice on the menu and a good selection of wine available. Some of the food was very nice, starters were great (I had mussels- really good). However on both ocassions I have been disappointed by being served overcooked food. The first time a Belgian waffle that was burnt, although the manager was excellent at dealing with the complaint. Then the second time overdone sea bass, I did comment on it to the waitress but decided not to make a complaint as this sort of thing does detract from the specialness of the occasion. I am sure that most food is great but my experience has put us off making a return visit.
